The Film Life Movie Awards (FLMA) is a star studded awards ceremony celebrating Black cinema.  The FLMA that will be hosted by actor/director Robert Townsend and actress Tracee Ellis Ross.

Spike Lee will receive the Innovator Award presented by Time Warner during a special tribute for his distinguished work and outstanding contributions to Hollywood and American cinema.  Actress Rosario Dawson will receive Time Warner Rising Star award.

Other Awards to be presented include HBO Short Film Award and Blockbuster Audience Award for Best Film
