When Rush was a little boy, you know he was probably
fat. No offense to cool, fat boys, but ya know he was the odd-out fat boy all
his life. So what do men that suffer from Rush's disease or small (fill in the
blanks) do? They buy expensive cars, tell lies, or they develop themselves into
BIG-FAT LOUD MOUTHS for attention. Let us tell you something Mr. Limbaugh, we
have met Chris Berman, and you, Mr. Limbaugh, are no Chris Berman.
THE
PLAY THAT SACKED THE CONSERVATIVE:
"I think what we've had here
is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a
black quarterback do well,...there is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he
got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The
defense carried this team." - Rush Limbaugh.

offered an opinion. This opinion has caused discomfort to the crew, which I regret.
I love NFL Sunday Countdown and do not want to be a distraction to the great work
done by all who work on it. Therefore, I have decided to
resign. I appreciate
the opportunity to be a part of the show and wish all the best to those who make

WHY PEOPLE WERE REALLY UPSET
Many were wondering why people, black and white, were peeved about the issue.
For you youngsters out there, blacks have dealt with idiot sports statements before
and one would think that the networks are smart enough to know it's time to respect
that and not move backwards.

RUINED THEIR LEGACY?

- "Look at that little monkey run." This was also said on ABC which
now owns ESPN. You would think they had learned their lesson.

of slave Plantation breeding techniques." (what the f*ck?)
HINDSIGHT
and 20/20
Limbaugh played the race card and now The Squad is quite pleased
that DISNEY/ABC/ESPN did the right thing, and accepted his resignation. In hindsight,
we wish that Tom Jackson, Steve Young, Chris Berman and Michael Irvin would have
simply punched Dumbaugh in his BIG-FAT-MOUTH ala Three Stooges style...ahhh, ynuk,
ynuk.
A NOTE TO THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES
DON'T THINK FOR
ONE MINUTE THAT THIS ISSUE WILL WIN LIBERAL VOTES. In election campaigns, candidates
will chime in on everything that is at the forefront of the media. We highly doubt
that some of the candidates really give a pa-tooty about the issue if it were
not taken to the media level it received yesterday. So understand this candidates,
Americans are not stupid. People are far more concerned about feeding their families,
keeping their jobs, The Iraq Issue, Gun Control, Enron Prosecutions, cheaper airline
tickets, and gas prices. So beef up your knowledge on the people that will elect
you before chiming in on every issue.
TO OUR FRIENDS AT ESPN/DISNEY/ABC
Initially yesterday, ESPN defended Rush Limbaugh. That was insulting. We are now
pleased that Rush is gone. But the REAL issue is, which ESPN executive had the
brain-fart to hire the loud-mouth anyway? He or she should be reprimanded for
an irresponsible choice. The Squad consists of HUGE sports fans and have been
watching the network since we could crawl. Football is like a love affair with
us. When we first saw Rush on the show, before he said something stupid, we knew
it was only a matter of time. Our suggestion is that you look in the African-American,
Latino, Asian, Indian and women job banks to replace Rush. Look at how wonderful
Wanda Sykes performs on HBO's INSIDE THE NFL as well as George Lopez. Or, if you
are gonna replace him with another white male, at least hire someone that has
football experience. Steve Young, excellent choice. Michael Irvin, excellent choice.
Linda Cohn, excellent choice. But Rush Limbaugh? C'mon, that had bad-baggage written
all over it. The only real way to compete with Fox's pregame show is to keep it
light and fun just like Bradshaw, Long, Brown and Johnson do every week. No one
wants this sort of ridiculous time-out in sports. Rush's comments wasted plenty
of media time which could have been dedicated to the Cubs winning their first
road playoff game IN DECADES or Iverson and Garnett sparking a needed change in
sports by re-signing with their original teams for the duration of their careers.
ESPN, you are tops. For sports fans, what would we do without you? But please,
think about the ramifications before hiring another and HIRE SOME NEW WRITERS
FOR PLAYMAKERS!

YOU SO YEARS AGO!
