The Corporate Negro

The Squad was surprised at the awesome number of people that responded to the DVD and POSTER giveaway.
However, we were also "shocked" by the number of people that answered incorrectly.

Denzel was nominated for an Academy Award for his amazing portrayal of Steve Biko in CRY FREEDOM.

L-R: Sandy Grushow, Chairman, Fox Entertainment Group, Ruben Studdard the AMERICAN IDOL, Simon Fuller, President, 19 Entertainment and Gail Berman, President, Fox Entertainment Group, after the Wednesday, May 21 AMERICAN IDOL FINALE at Universal Amphitheatre, Universal CIty, CA.

Issue No. 7 (5/12) we stated, "Rubes will deliver more smackdowns and he will be crowned the new American Idol." And gosh darnit, he did the da*n thang. We are very proud of Ruben's accomplishment and we also salute Fox for one of the most dynamic and exciting shows ever to hit television.

Host Ryan Seacrest

Lastly, a big shout to "shakin" Aiken, Kimberley Lock, Randy, Simon, Paula, Ryan and all of you that continue to dream. For if we don't dream of success, how can we ever achieve it? And for all of you that followed our lead and voted, it's a good thing that you did...the final tally after more than 24 million votes gave Ruben the edge by a mere 130,000 votes. NOW, DURING THE NEXT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, REMEMBER TO VOTE! Don't worry, we will remind you.

The judges. L-R: Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of The United States of America. And to the...well, you know the drill. Oh say can you see how weird it is to be an American in 2003?

The Squad has a question. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON AMERICA?

Pull no punches. Spare no pain and tell us YOUR THOUGHTS ON AMERICA. There are more than 260 Million people living in America and 24 Million telephoned or text messaged AT&T last week to select an American Idol. That's music - This is life.

E-mail your thoughts to editors@urbanfilmpremiere.com.

The most thought provoking, challenging and funny comments will be selected for future editions of UFP Weekly.
We seriously encourage you to answer this question and forward this e-mail to ALL of YOUR friends.
We thank you in advance for your time and thoughts.
